Where Is Apostle David Taylor Now?

A preacher of Joshua Media Ministries International (JMMI), David E. Taylor was charged with running a cult-like organization.

He went to court in 2016 to answer allegations of financial corruption.

The evangelist alternatively referred to the $2.8 million St. Louis property in question as a “residential centre,” “home,” and a training resort.

In a deposition, that pastor admitted he knew little about his finances, didn’t know where the church’s corporate office was and didn’t even know who was on the board of his ministry.

A video claims that Taylor used more than $30,000 of the donations made to the JMMI between 2013 and 2014 to purchase fashionable clothing.

At the time, the business also had three high-end vehicles, one of which was converted into a limousine for the transportation of distinguished guests.

You don’t believe that wearing Versace and Louis Vuitton while ministering to the sick, the hungry, or the impoverished is a problem? the trial’s attorney questioned.

In his response, Taylor described himself as a “very frugal person.”

Multiple videos of the pastor’s court testimony were circulated by the non-profit group “Concerned Citizens,” who referred to him as a “con man.”
