Édgar Yoel Bárcenas Herrera, is a Panamanian Football player, who plays as a winger for Liga MX club Mazatlán and the country’s squad Panama, he was born on October 23, 1993, and he is of Colón native.
Bárcenas made his senior debut on July 29, 2012, while playing as a substitute in a 2-2 away draw against Plaza Amador for his hometown team, rabe Unido. On February 1, 2014, he scored his first goal for the team, the game’s only goal in a 1-0 victory over San Francisco at home.
Bárcenas was sent on a six-month loan to Croatian team RNK Split on January 15, 2016. However, after making only sporadic appearances, he returned to Arabe Unido before joining Cafetaleros de Tapachula in Ascenso MX on January 23, 2017, likewise on a temporary basis.
He officially joined Cafetaleros on December 26th, 2017, and his transfer to Tijuana was planned for July of the following year. He was, however, sent a one-year loan to Segunda División team Real Oviedo on July 18, 2018. Although the loan for Bárcenas was extended for a further campaign on August 9th, 2019.
