Where to watch the new series online

Promised Land, the latest multi-generational TV drama focused on a vineyard–the other is OWN’s The Kings of Napa)–makes its debut tonight.

The series follows Joe Sandoval (John Ortiz), the patriarch of a family whose wealth and power stems from the success of their Sonoma valley winery. The time has come for Joe to determine the future direction of the company which has his children on edge.

They all have a personal stake in the family’s vineyards and business, however, Joe must also contend with Margaret Honeycroft (Bellamy Young), his ex-wife and mother of three of his children. She intends to take the vineyards from him as they were once her father’s though Joe is the one who made an empire out of them.

There is, however, something in Joe’s past that’s about to rear its head which could mean trouble for not only him but also his family and the business he spent decades building.

Promised Land premieres Monday, Jan. 24 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. The series is available for next day streaming on Hulu. Viewers will be able to stream the premiere, “A Place Called Heritage,” and the show’s second episode, “La Madrugada,” on the streamer Tuesday, Jan. 25. The second episode will make its broadcast debut on Monday, Jan. 31.

As mentioned above, Promised Land‘s streaming home is Hulu. There’s been no word on if the show will make a Netflix debut after the first season wraps.
