Derek Carr is an American professional football quarterback. He plays for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). Derek has played college football for Fresno State, where he received first-team All-MWC honours twice. He was also selected by the Raiders in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft .

During the 2016 season in the NFL, Derek being a three-time Pro Bowl selection, he then helped the Raiders to reach the playoffs which were the franchise’s first appearance since the year 2002.

The football star got married on June 29, 2012. Carr got married to Heather Neel, and they have since been together. The couple together they have four children. They have three sons named Dallas, Deker, and Deakon and a daughter named Brooklyn. Carr’s oldest son was born with a medical condition that tied up his intestines and required three surgeries to fix the situation.
