Tom Hiddleston seemed annoyed when he was picked up by Taylor Swift’s driver

Here are some photos of Tom Hiddleston out in New York on Friday. I’m assuming Tom and Taylor Swift took her private plane from Rhode Island to Manhattan on Thursday, and now they’re loved up in her West Village rental. Taylor’s penthouse is undergoing extensive renovations that will probably take months to complete, so in the meantime, she’s renting a five-bedroom townhouse with an indoor pool at a cost of $40,000 a month – you can see the photos of the new place here. While the décor seems a bit gaudy and ornate, it’s a nice little love nest. Imagine all of the Tiddlesbanging happening in every room.

Anyway, Taylor is acting as sugar mama, big time. She’s basically giving Tom – who is posh in his own right – a tour of her mega-rich lifestyle, from Rhode Island mansions to $40K-a-month Manhattan rentals, from private planes to chauffeur-driven limos. In these photos, Tom was leaving to the gym and being picked up by Taylor’s car and driver. There’s video of the paparazzi asking him annoying questions as he briefly made his way to Taylor’s car too:

He seems annoyed. Which brings me to my initial reaction when TIDDLES first broke on Wednesday evening: that Tom might not have known what he was getting into. It’s one thing to be a single guy and show some interest in dating Taylor Swift. It’s quite another to get thrown into the deep end of publicly dating one of the most famous women in the world when your staged photos make it onto the front page of one of the largest newspapers in Great Britain. And not only is Taylor incredibly famous, but Taylor is famous for being boy-crazy and literally crazy when it comes to dating/boyfriends/relationships. It wouldn’t surprise me if the intensity scale went from zero to BAD BLOOD YOU ARE MY ROMEO WE ARE NEVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER in the space of three days. Will Tom tap out? Will he play the “baby, I’ve got to fly to Australia for work, let’s hit pause on this and see where we are in six months”??

Also: I have no idea if it’s just some weirdness with his shorts or if he’s really excited to be getting pap’d, but Hiddles does look… um, bulgy?
