Kim Kardashian spent a lot of time with Balmain’s creative director in Paris

When Kim Kardashian was in Paris on Monday, she and Kanye stopped by Balmain during their whirlwind shopping trip/wedding venue hunt. Kim has been wearing some Balmain stuff lately, although we mostly take note when she’s wearing something especially hideous from Givenchy (Riccardo Tisci is such a passive-aggressive bitch). The black velvet outfit that Kim wore around Paris was Balmain (but that tacky gold belt was Judith Leiber, a name which Kim misspelled on her IG).

Anyway, as it turns out, Kim is tight with Olivier Rousteing, the creative director of the House of Balmain. He went with her to the darling little French chateau which she and Kanye might use as a wedding venue. And not only that, but Kim and Olivier spent some time in some kind of aquarium-porium (fishporium?) where they took a bunch of photos. Olivier posted the photos to HIS Instagram. Which means he’s down with Kanye and Kim. The Vogue cover is working, people. Olivier even called Kim his “morning mermaid”. Barf.

So, will Kim wear Balmain for the wedding? I really don’t think Balmain is an option. I think she HAS to wear Givenchy. Riccardo Tisci was one of the first designers to really befriend Kim when she first got with Kanye, and Riccardo and Kanye really are so tight. It has to be Givenchy, right?
