JoJo Siwa's emotional post on 'losing pieces of yourself' months after tragic loss
JoJo Siwa has taken to her Instagram story to share an emotional post regarding the loss of her dog, Tooie, who died in a ‘tragic accident’ back in April. Jojo had her pup for two months before he tragically died, and she recently took to her Instagram stories to say she “misses him a little extra” almost three months after the accident.
20-year-old Jojo Siwa rose to fame when she first appeared on-screen at just nine years old in the Dance Moms spin-off Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition. Since then, Jojo’s popularity rapidly grew, as fans followed her life on YouTube.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Siwa shared an old video of her stroking her pup Tooie, with the caption: “Miss this baby a little extra today.”
Four hours later, she then went on to share a quote from life coach, Jay Shetty which started with: “Life changes. You lose love, You lose friends. You lose pieces of yourself that you never imagined would be gone.”
The posts were shared with the star’s 11.3 million followers. Her last main post on the grid, was on June 23, with beauty YouTuber James Charles, as the two collaborated on the platform.
What happened to JoJo Siwa’s dog?
JoJo Siwa’s dog, Tooie (O2), was killed in a fatal accident back in April. She had had her pet for two months before the tragic accident took place.
The Dance Mom stars didn’t disclose exactly what had happened to her beloved pup, although the Daily Mail reported he was killed by a coyote in the backyard. However, it appears that influencer JoJo has now confirmed this via a later TikTok.
Taking to her TikTok at the time, JoJo said: “My heart hurts so much to say that this morning he was involved in an accident and is now in puppy heaven.”
The Dance Mom star recently celebrated her 20th birthday
Siwa became a reality star at nine years old when she competed in the Dance Moms spinoff Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition in 2013.
For OG fans, it may be difficult to believe that the star recently turned 20 after watching the star grow from a child to an adult on the TV screen.
It seemed like JoJo enjoyed every minute of her birthday cruise as she partied with a group of friends. Taking to her social media, the star shared a highlight reel of her celebrations captioned: “Take me back in time.”
