Eleven may celebrate her birthday

The sixth episode of Stranger Things 3 is titled “The Birthday,” and there’s been a lot of speculation that this episode could be referring to Eleven’s birthday.

Screen Rant recently published a list of fan theories for Stranger Things 3, and one of their theories about the new season is that Eleven will celebrate a birthday in the new season. With an episode called “The Birthday” in Stranger Things 3, it makes total sense that will actually be Eleven’s birthday.

I hadn’t thought this “Birthday” could be alluding to Eleven’s birthday, but it makes sense now that she is officially Jane Hopper and has a family and friends to celebrate with.

Seeing Eleven celebrate a birthday with Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, Max and maybe some other new friends would be an excellent scene in Stranger Things 3. Fans are looking to see these kids experiencing some semblance of real life without them being tortured by monsters and having their lives torn apart.

If it is Eleven’s birthday party, it has the potential to be the most fun episode of the season.

How likely is that we’ll be celebrating Eleven’s birthday in the new season?

I think there’s a pretty good chance, but I’m not super confident. There is simply too much we don’t know about her character, and it seems unlikely considering how short of a window the new season will likely cover in time.

Granted, the fact that Eleven’s birthday has not been revealed yet gives the writers and Duffer Bros. the flexibility to reveal her birthday when they want. We do know that Eleven is 12 years old in the first season, like Will, Lucas, Dustin and Mike. We also know her birthday is likely before Nov. 6. That’s the day the first season started on in 1983.

To recap, there’s a chance Eleven’s birthday could be around July 4. We should find out soon! If it’s not Eleven, someone else will be celebrating a birthday, and we know it’s not Will. He was born on March 22, according to Fandom.
