Christina Aguilera's daughter is growing up so fast as she attends mom's birthday celebrations
Christina Aguilera is celebrating her 43rd birthday, alongside her daughter, who’s making a rare appearance on the star’s Instagram.
The music star shares nine-year-old daughter Summer Rain with fiance Matthew Rutler. The couple have been engaged since 2014, but recently revealed they were in no rush to get to the altar. For now, she’s currently living her best life in Las Vegas preparing for her upcoming residency, along with an epic birthday bash.
Christina Aguilera celebrates her birthday with rarely-seen daughter
Taking to her Instagram to mark the occasion, the Genie in a Bottle singer uploaded a showstopping celebration reel.
The newly turned 43-year-old’s video began with her walking into a decorated hotel room, filled with Happy Birthday balloons, and pink streamers. The grateful star could then be seen cuddling her daughter, as she took in the surprise.
Christina and a grown-up Summer were then seen walking into the concert venue where the surprises just kept on coming. Cake, photos, performances, the pop icon had it all.
In the caption, Aguilera, who looked dapper in a beanie and cargo pants, penned: “Thank you for all the birthday wishes – sending love from Vegas.”
In true XTina style, her song Intro (Back To Basics) was playing in the background.
Fans took to the comments to wish their fave a happy birthday, as one wrote: “Loooooove this!!! Happy birthday Queen Christina!”
“You look 16 years old!!!!!! also absolutely LIVING for the Back To Basics songs being used on your videos omg,” exclaimed another.
The family spent some quality time together in Melbourne
Before jetting off to Vegas, the family spent some quality time in the Australian city of Melbourne, where the singer put on a one-off show at Flemington Racecourse.
During her downtime, the family experienced all the wildlife the city had to offer. At one point, the star can even be seen joyfully holding a snake around her neck.
As well as daughter Summer, the Candyman singer also has a son,Max Liron, who she shares with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman.
