Benedict Cumberbatch looked gorgeous at the Hay Festival: would you hit it?

At first I thought this was going to be Code Red Cumbemergency because I couldn’t find these new photos of our lovely Benedict Cumberbatch, but as luck would have it, I found them. Benedict attended the Hay Festival in Britain for two days of dramatic readings. It was a festival of words, literature, letters and Benedict. I wish I could say that I really, really cared deeply about what Benedict was saying. Alas, I only really care about how he was saying it, with the Cumbercurls, the tight white t-shirt, the surprisingly sexy cardigan and his general adorableness.

Apparently, Benedict’s performances were THE tickets to get at the festival. Lots and lots of Cumberbitches showed their support for our Lizard King. The director of the festival even admitted that most of the people there had come specifically for Cumby. And here’s something nice: it was all for charity. The money raised from Benedict’s dramatic letter readings provided much need funding for several literacy charities. Apparently, Cumby and Louise Brealey (Molly from Sherlock) did a series of love letters from a British soldier and his girl and everyone in the tent was completely charmed.
